Nicola Cooper is an Associate Lawyer at Cooper & Company.
Nicola was born and raised in Fort McMurray. In high school she moved to Edmonton, where she graduated from Old Scona Academic High School. Nicola completed a Theatre Arts Diploma at MacEwan University in 2012. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Distinction) from MacEwan University in 2015.
Nicola attended the University of Calgary for her law degree, and she graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2018.
While pursuing her BA and JD, Nicola worked part time for Cooper & Company during the school year, and she returned to Fort McMurray during the summer months to work full-time. Throughout her undergraduate degree and her law degree, Nicola has been eager to return home to Fort McMurray to live and practice law.
Nicola is excited for the opportunity to become more involved with the community, and is currently looking for volunteer opportunities.
During her spare time, Nicola enjoys reading, walking in the Birchwood Trails, and cooking/baking. Recently Nicola completed her first Spartan Races.
Nicola is also fluent in French, having completed grades K through 8 in French Immersion. She continued her French studies through high school (French 20, 30, and 31 IB) and in University. Nicola has also completed the DELF examination (Level B1).

Nicola a étudié Français à l’École Dickinsfield (depuis prématernelle jusqu’au fin du huitième année). Quand elle a déménagé à Edmonton, elle a continué ses études à Old Scona Academic High School. Old Scona Academic High School n’offrait pas de cours en immersion française, mais Nicola a complété Français 20, Français 30, et Français 31IB pendant l’école secondaire.
Pendant ses études à l’université pour sa baccalauréat en arts, Nicola a pris deux cours en Français pour améliorer son français.
Bien que Français n’est pas la première langue de Nicola, elle est préparer de vous aider en Français si ce serait utile.
