Jordan is an associate lawyer at Campbell & Cooper with a general legal practice serving clients in all areas of the law. However, Jordan is currently focusing his law practice on areas such as Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Family Law, and First Nations law.

Jordan obtained his Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, at the University of Alberta. He later studied Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan at the National Sun Yat Sen University in Kaohsiuing, Taiwan. Jordan remains a fluent speaker of Mandarin Chinese.

After living overseas, Jordan attended law school at the University of Toronto. Upon completing his first year of law school, Jordan returned to Fort McMurray to work as a summer student with Campbell & Cooper. During his law school years, Jordan was an associate editor of the University of Toronto’s Indigenous Law Journal, an internationally circulated legal publication focusing on Aboriginal legal issues throughout Canada and the Commonwealth.

In 2003, Jordan graduated from the University of Toronto with a Juris Doctorate and subsequently articled at Vancouver’s largest and most well established law firm, Lawson Lundell.

In the Fall of 2004, Jordan joined the law firm of Campbell & Cooper as an associate lawyer. While working at Campbell & Cooper, Jordan has successfully represented clients both in the Provincial Court of Alberta and at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta in variety of civil, criminal, and family matters. Recently, Jordan successfully appealed to the Queen’s Bench an important decision regarding the duties of a realtor. This case is now being used by the Alberta Real Estate Board as part of its curriculum. More recently, Jordan successfully defended five accused charged with numerous wildlife and fishing offences. Jordan has also been active in researching Aboriginal harvesting rights, with two of his scholarly articles being published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.

In regards to personal background, Jordan has strong roots within the Fort McMurray community. Jordan’s family lived in Fort McMurray during the late 1970s while his father, Phillip Stuffco, was an associate lawyer with the law firm Campbell Germain & Cooper. Over the last 30 years, Jordan has spent considerable time living and working in Fort McMurray.

Jordan is a proud member of the Metis Nation and is legal counsel for various Metis communities within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. In his spare time, Jordan enjoys playing drums, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife, Rowena Stuffco-Lu.
